Langley Grammar School kicked off the Senior Section with a robust talk asking 'Is society fighting a losing battle against gang culture?' St George's School Ascot and Harefield Academy both put up a strong talk of their own. But the winners of the senior section were judged to be Brigidine School with their impassioned talk titled 'Locked in; Living with Autism'. The Best Speaker in the senior section was also judged to be Harriet Audaer of the Brigidine School team.
We congratulate all teams and their teachers for the high level of competition and wish them all the best for the future.
The winning teams will now go through to the District Final to be held on Thursday 8 March 2012 at John Hampden Grammar School in High Wycombe. This will bring together all the winning teams from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and West London competing for a place in the National Final.
