
Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us this year, but in spite of the heavy showers, members of the public supported the event and we raised some funds for our activities.

![]() On Saturday 28th a few members of Windsor St George manned a double stand, with options for eveyone in the family. Half the stand was dedicated to fun family games, such as "toss the teddy bear" and American Corn Hole. The other half was a bric-a-brac sale, with plenty of interesting things to buy for just a few pounds. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us this year, but in spite of the heavy showers, members of the public supported the event and we raised some funds for our activities. This award recognises an outstanding contribution to the Stroke Association from an individual or organisation. Their support helps to improve the lives of all those affected by stroke Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) are committed supporters of the Stroke Association and our Know Your Blood Pressure campaign, organising an amazing 426 events on our behalf in 2013. This contribution meant that together we held over 1,100 events. During the year we tested the blood pressure of over 425,000 people referring almost 7,000 to their GP for further advice. Together, RIBI and the Stroke Association have organised Know Your Blood Pressure events for over ten years and with their support, the campaign is helping to prevent strokes and to save lives. |
