![]() With great thanks to the Rotary Club of Windsor St George "The Walk Children's Church" have been able to purchase a third cooker for the kitchen. The cooker is slighly smaller than the current ones which enables the staff to make smaller meals or simply to boil some water without wasting unnecessary fuel lighting the bigger cooker.

![]() On Monday 21st October George the Dragon and five other members of the club collected £162 from race-goers at the last meeting of the year at Windsor Race Course. This along with the doubling of money by Bill Gates means that £486 goes to help end polio in the World. This could have been considerably more if the attendance had not been so poor due to the atrocious weather the previous day and early that morning. Hopefully next year we will get a date in August and be able to raise more money! ![]() On Sunday October 6th, a team from the club put on their walking shoes to participate in the traditional Maidenhead Boundary Walk, organised by the Rotary Club of Maidenhead. The group set out at 9.35am and after walking 14 miles, arrived back safe and sound at Boutler’s Lock just past 2.15pm. The team raised over £ 300 for our International Service projects. A special congrautulations to David for his 16th consecutive participation in the walk! |
